The Campbelltown Rotary Observatory is a lesser known asset to Campbelltown. Owned by Western Sydney University and used for teaching and research, it is also used by Macarthur Astronomical Society for holding popular public astronomy nights every winter.

This image was taken one kilometre away in the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan; and shows the zig-zag pathway up to the observatory from the University.

My bird images from Mount Annan can be seen over at Focused On Birds.
